Betsy’s Thank You Notes

I promised to share something a bit different with you today so no Christmas nut instead something bright and cheery!

Some customer Thank You cards I made using Betsy’s Blossoms and Bitty Banners, 2 of the 25 stamp sets that have 25% off until October 28th.  I kept it a very simple one layer card and took inspiration from a quick google images search, my colours are Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Gumball Green and Strawberry Slush.

Here’s a closer look, Bitty Banners also has a matching framelits set which makes them so easy to cut out and add depth to a project.  If you missed my post with about the 25% off sale you can check it out here.

12 Weeks of Christmas – week 4

Hello, it’s a late post but atleast by UK time it’s still Wednesday :)  I’m back with todays project, it actually wasn’t designed by me but by my upline Monica for a team training session.  I really enjoy these chances to get together and share inspiration, business ideas and have fun!  I got my thinlit die today and can’t wait to start playing with it.

The sentiment on this card is from a set that is on the carry over list, it’s called Greetings of the Season

12 Weeks of Christmas–week 3

Good evening! I’m sorry that this post is late, it has just been one of those days.
Today I am going to share my first 5 designs for my monthly Christmas card club.  I really enjoy making these cards!  I keep them fairly simple as they need to be wast to reproduce and also 'post friendly' too so I don't use any big embellishments.  I do a lot of web browsing and sketching when planning these cards, but don't always note down the details, if you think any of my cards may be based on one of yours please let me know so I can give you credit.

The colours for this first card are Baked Brown Sugar, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and Soft Suede.  I have used the Ornament Keepsakes set which is on carryover from last year.

Colours in the second card are Real Red, Old Olive, Whisper White and Chocolate Chip with a touch of Silver Glimmer paper.  The tree is stamped using Pennant Parade.

Another pennant card but this time using the punch and some lovely Coastal Cabana dsp teamed with Raspberry Ripple.  Super quick and easy!

Apologies for this picture!  This card is based on a swap I received at a team training session in August, I think from a lady called Claire.  I've used the 'splodge' from Gorgeous Grunge and the Mosaic Madness set with it's coordinating punch.  Colours are Real Red, Gumball Green and Whisper White.

Finally a card using a super fun set called 'Happy Hour'  We used markers to colour in the individual parts then built the image up.  Texture from the Northern Flurries embossing folder finishes it off.

12 weeks of Christmas–week 2

Well today is 11 weeks to the big day, so I'm back to share another festive project with you!  Today it’s a set of Christmas cards.  Here’s the full set

I’ve used Crumb Cake bases with accents of the Season of Style washi tape, alongside stamped images from Fun with Christmas.

I've used the markers to colour my images just like last weeks project.  You can also see that I've stamped the same image as the focal point along the card in crumb cake ink.

I did 2 of the cards landscape and 2 portrait.

I hope you like this week's countdown to the big day!  I'll be back next week with some more festive lovelies for you.

12 Weeks of Christmas–week 1

Can you believe it! 12 weeks today is Christmas day!  So with that in mind every Wednesday I am going to share a Christmas related post with you.  Back in July I got a phone call from Paula Gorry, the country manager for Stampin’ Up! UK.  She asked me if I would do a presentation at an event in October and I of course jumped at the chance!  The theme was makes for your Christmas events and so I think that this project is perfect for week one of this series.

A pretty little gift box, embellished with one of the gorgeous bows from the Seasonal Catalogue, these come did cut, you get two different sizes each and they are double sided.

This is what’s inside, a set of 8 handmade gift tags featuring images from “Fun with Christmas”  I have also used the new stripy embossing folder and the Season of Style DSP stack.

I hope you like week 1, I'm looking forward to sharing the rest with you.
