Trendy Trees

Well I've had a busy week or so, unfortunately not all that busy with crafting but hey ho!  I started baby swimming lessons with Daisy, what fun!  She loves being in the water, and didn't bat an eyelid when she was submerged for the first time - I think she must be part fish!  I've also been planning venues for workshops in the coming months, anyone near to J15 of the M1 there will definitely be some near you!  I'll also be doing some at home too so those of you that are in the East Northampton, Wellingborough, or Kettering areas feel free to give me a buzz to find out more.  Keep an eye on the classes tab for more details.

I made this cute little gift set last week and have been waiting for some decent light to photograph it, unfortunately this is the best I could do.  I've used Kimberly's project as inspiration but played with the sizes and colour combo. Colours are Tempting Turquoise and Rich Razzleberry.  I wish we could still get the spotty ribbon - I love it!  I also really love the bag as it's made out of 1 sheet of A4 so is nice and economical!  The cards are also budget friendly as the are 10.5 cm square so you get 3 out of a sheet and they fit perfectly in the bag.

Some close ups of the cards - please leave a comment if you have time, it's so nice reading them!  I'll be back later in the week with some more trendy trees and a pic of the latest addition to the family - not Daisy or another pet..... keep guessing! :)

Just for you....

I realised that I had not shared the projects from convention in November so todays's post is a really quick one with some pictures of two of the projects for you.  The stamp set is 'Just Believe' which we got FREE for attending conference.  Colours are Not Quite Navy, Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue for the card and Melon Mambo, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz and Chocolate Chip for the wallet with little tag cards. For the card we coloured directly onto the stamp using the markers then we spritzed with a little water before stamping the image onto water colour paper.  We also used the colour spritzer tool and did a little bit of distressing - I'm liking this look, not something I'm used to!
The wallet seals closed by tucking the tab into a slot made with the word window punch - aren't the tiny cards so cute?!

Tote Bag and Notelets

I made this cute little tote bag ages ago (before Daisy was born!) I have finally got round to making some notelets to go with it so I thought I'd share. I've used some cards that Bekka made over on In Love with Stamping as my inspiration, the colours tie in with the DSP which is the retired set Tea and Crumpets.  The stamp set is Bliss which you can still get FREE with any order over £45, contact me to place your order.

Short and sweet today - more later in the week.
